About Me

“I was born and raised near Frankfurt am Main, Germany and lived in Berlin, Germany for the past five years. I recently got married to my Texan husband and we decided to move back to his hometown. Moving to Dallas in March 2018, I had the exciting opportunity to start working at German ISD as the new giraffe teacher alongside Raphaela Leo. When I started working at German ISD I was
fascinated by how fast the little students ended up having a very special place in my heart. Far away from Germany, I caught myself forgetting I was half a world away. Teaching your children not only cognitive, emotional and social skills but also helping them learn the German language and culture is something I truly love to do and be a part of.”
